An account told in four 1 hour episodes which follows multiple protagonists and their personal journeys’ each connected by a common thematic link of escape and migration.
Through narrative use of flashback ‘Dying to meet you’ is the told account of four refugee survivors, smuggled into the UK in the back of a doomed container lorry.
From across a Home Office desk and inside the confines of an immigration detention centre in South West London - Executive Officer Maria Grayling’s job is to piece together the puzzle of the journeys taken and to consider each Asylum application very carefully...while we, the audience are in turn encouraged to consider how misfortune or circumstance could so easily transform our own fragile lives into those of a Refugee’s.
