BIO

Stephen Ridley is a former student of the London Film Academy and dedicated cinephile (or should that be ‘cineaste) Stephen’s earliest recollections of working with film makers came as a rookie Runner - working at a number of the film festivals in Cannes, way back in the day.
In a later stint working as a Film Reviewer for Capital Radio, he felt that he was enduring too many hours watching some very uninspiring movies, many of which convinced him that he could probably write something better.
Since then he has gone on to write a number of well received feature length screenplays, ranging in genre from comedy to psychological thrillers, and all receiving very good coverage from the London Screenwriters Festival.
Stephen has written and produced a series of documentary Shorts as well as having worked on a 2012 episode of C4’s Undercover World – documentary series.
In 2013 he also received a Screenwriting Credit for his work on the feature length script ‘The Warehouse’, an award winning indie British thriller (Produced by FBH Pictures).
More recently he has been busy working on two feature film projects, currently in development with two London based Producers; as well as developing his writing skills in mini-series formats for TV.
